Print File Checklist

We prefer PDF and TIF, however, we accept industry standard cross platform file types such as: JPG, EPS, PDF, PS, PSD, AI.
* If you are a design ninja, you can sneak past this area.

Photoshop

  • Make sure your file is correct size and resolution (150 – 300DPI at full size)
  • Make sure you are in RGB mode (YES, we prefer to print raster images in RGB)
  • Make sure all black levels are equal
  • Compress all layers
  • Save as .TIF with LZW compression (Helps reduce file size, without compromising quality)
 Illustrator / Corel / In Design

  • Convert fonts to outlines
  • Make sure all black levels are equal
  • Include used images or fonts. (If needed)
  • Save file as CDR, PDF, EPS, or AI
 Microsoft programs:

We DO NOT recommend using Publisher or other Microsoft programs for your print files. Microsoft programs do not output professionally. Please contact us for a detailed explanation, or trust us, and do not use publisher for your documents.
  • Submit art as PDF, EPS or TIFF files at least 150 dpi or larger at full size.
  • Vector Art can be spot color or CMYK.
  • All raster files like TIFF or JPEG should be RGB for brighter colors.
  • Be sure to convert all fonts to paths or outlines.

Prices include 15 minutes of setup time to open and prepare client files for printing. If files are not print ready, (low resolution, missing fonts, incorrect format) we’ll let you know so you can resubmit the file. If we need to fix the files, there will be a design charge of $85 per hour. (15 min minimum)

Color proofs are available for $20 each (small print and full size strip of one selection of print)

If art is to be contour cut, the vector shape must be included in the file. If it isn’t, we can create the cut path for a $40 set up fee. Contour cutting the stickers is an extra $3.00 per square foot.

Minimum order of $85 for all jobs.
Normal turnaround time is 3 days.
